The Beck Extra Blanche FA324 offers the cleanest whiteness in the Beck range. Its low iron oxide content releases the full honesty of colour: fine decoration, transparent glazes and coloured slips stand out without the cream veil of an ordinary white earthenware. Type: Beck extra white earthenware, smooth without grog. Firing range: 980-1080 °C. Colour: Extra white when wet, extra white once fired. Shrinkage: 6 % drying, 1.5 % firing (1000 °C). Water absorption: 12.8 % at 1000 °C. Iron oxide: Only 0.8 %, hence the whiteness. Packaging: Ready-to-use...

Wedge the clay before shaping, then dry slowly and evenly, away from draughts. Adapt the firing curve to the volume and thickness of your pieces, and always test the clay-slip-glaze combination before production. Store the block away from frost and drying out.
