Sketching Crayons
The Conté à Paris Sketching crayons include various highly reputed Sanguine colours, Grey and Bistre, grades of white and black complete the range. These crayons are very soft to apply and manufactured using natural pigments (iron oxides, carbon black, titanium dioxide), clay (kaolin) and a binder (cellulose ether). Very soft when they are applied, carrés are produced from natural pigments. Then, they are cooked after extrusion and drying. Degree of cooking permits a grade variation (from H to B) of the black and white Carrés.
