TULIP - Fabric Dye - Permanent & Solid Coverage - 50g

How to Use:

• 1. Fill bowl or stainless steel sink with one gallon of STEAMING HOT water. Tip: Use water boiled from a kettle.
• 2. Stir in 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) salt.
• 3. Pour in powder from entire dye packet and stir until completely dissolved. Undissolved dye particles can leave color splotches on fabric.
• 4. Fully submerge fabric in dye mixture.
• 5. Stir continually for 15 minutes, and then occasionally for 45 minutes, making sure fabric is fully submerged.
• 6. Rinse fabric in cold water. Wash in warm water and dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Wash separately for the first few washes.

Tips:

• This dye will not work with pure polyester, acrylic, nylon and fabric with special finishes.
• The hotter the water, the deeper the shade of color that can be achieved.
• To achieve the best color, use prewashed fabric that has been soaked in soda ash. Completely push it down to the bottom of the bucket and make sure it is fully immersed in the soda ash solution for the time recommended on packaging.
